In 1983, he co-founded Warwick Balfour Properties Ltd to re-develop single houses and flats in the best areas of central London. Alongside his property activities, Graham and his father, Dr Stanley Balfour-Lynn (who owned and operated leading private hospitals in the UK and Europe, such as the Harley Street Clinic and The Princess Grace Hospital), formed Village Homes Plc, in partnership with Godfrey Bradman’s Rosehaugh Plc, to develop and operate purpose built nursing homes for the elderly during the 1980s.

Graham was a director and shareholder in Eurogim SARL between 1989 and 1995, a French property company developing and investing in the city of Lille.

He was a founder director of the separately AIM listed MWB Business Exchange Plc, which grew to be the second largest service office provider in the UK with a national network of 65 offices. The company was sold to Regus Plc in 2012.

Graham also has a range of non-property business experience. He has in the past been a director and shareholder in Paradime Music & Management, a management company within the music business; International Medical Personnel Ltd, a provider of nursing and medical staff to UK and international hospitals; Illuminator Plc, an AIM listed technology investment company; and Avanta Telecommunications Ltd, a provider of telecommunication services to UK corporate clients.
